謝幕
在紐奧良時，經常看到一個我很喜歡的字眼「masque」
我喜歡跟mask有關的字：mask、masque、masquerade
我也買了一個大概永遠用不到的蝴蝶形狀的深紫色羽毛面具，那時選了很多個，每個都試戴看看，他們說「還是這個最像妳！」，我喜歡蝴蝶的圖形，也喜歡深紫色，一副面具五元美金。
除了面具外，紐奧良也到處都在賣珠鍊。人們站在房子的二樓，把珠鍊丟給什麼人，那個人就要把胸部敞開給大家看。我和老闆站在路邊看大家玩，他邊講解這傳統給我聽，突然就有人丟了幾串珠鍊給我，我覺得很好玩，笑著走開了。
在這個到處是面具和珠鍊的城市，想必經常有化裝舞會。讓我想起我愛的這首Madonna的歌Take a bow，也是我的手機鈴聲。Take a bow代表的就是謝幕，這首歌用化裝舞會來影射兩人間的關係，像是把真正的自我隱藏在那面具之後，而如今曲終人散，該是謝幕的時候了。觀眾(我)退席了，只剩下你一個人孤寂的演出，而你早已忘了你是誰。（你是舞台上的小丑還是你自己？）
不僅是愛情，人生也像是一場假面劇，每次聽到永遠的瑪丹娜唱到「整個世界就是一座舞台，而每個人都有屬於他的演出，但我又如何能知道這故事會往哪兒走？我怎會知道你會如此傷了我的心？」，我都感動得差點忘了我是誰。
